 | The Loveland community is renowned for its friendly, caring people, outdoor recreation, cultural atmosphere and especially for its arts. There are many galleries, studios and foundries and a wealth of public art. Outdoor recreational opportunities abound, with hiking and horseback riding trails, fishing and boating at nearby lakes and reservoirs, several golf courses, baseball fields, bike paths and a sports park all in close proximity. Money Magazine named nearby Fort Collins "the Best Place to Live in America." The Loveland-Fort Collins area was also recently recognized as one of the top places to retire in the United States. Active seniors, who comprise about 26 percent of the population in Loveland, are a great asset to the community and participate in everything from sports to the arts to volunteering for non-profit organizations.
